Description of Event: Calvin College graduate Bill Martinus is a botanical specialist for Aamazon Natural Resources Consulting, LLC. He has conducted extensive plant and animal surveys of the Grand River corridor that included the identification, classification, and mapping of ecosystem communities. Bill has inventoried historic sites and relics found along the Grand River Greenway and led dozens of field trips into these wetland areas. He is affiliated with numerous Audubon Societies, the Land Conservancy of West Michigan, the Michigan Archaeological Society, and serves on the State Board of the Michigan Botanical Club.
