This department provides public demand-response transportation services to the City of Grand Haven, the Village of Spring Lake, the City of Ferrysburg, Meijers, Inc., Lloyds Bayou Senior Complex, and Orchard Foods. Lift equipped buses are available. Seat belts are available on the Harbor Transit buses and use is encouraged. Call 842-3200 for service.

REGULAR SERVICE OPERATION HOURS:

Demand response/paratransit hours for regular service operations are:

Monday-Friday      6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (last pick up at 5:30 p.m.)
Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (last pick up at 3:30 p.m.)
Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (24 HOUR ADVANCE
REGISTRATION REQUIRED)

 

 

Harbor Transit's demand response bus service operates all year with the exception of the following holidays:

Memorial Day CLOSED
4th of July CLOSED
Labor Day CLOSED
Thanksgiving Day CLOSED
Christmas Eve Day    CLOSED
Christmas Day CLOSED


HARBOR TROLLEY: 

A summer (seasonal) trolley route that offers a historical narrative of the City of Grand Haven. The trolley runs 7 days/week, 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day only.
