Custodial services are provided seven days a week with one shift on weekdays and two shifts on the weekends. The City's small but effective custodial service area continues to perform with an eye for detail and quality. The Crew Leader is always looking for ways to improve quality, reduce costs and 'right-size' the inventory, with an eye on the safety and environmentally friendly components of the materials he recommends for purchase.
Despite the name "Custodial', the custodial staff members also set up furniture, audio/video equipment, coffee, etc. for special events; tear down and clean up after events; shovel and salt sidewalks as needed in the evenings and weekends; close the Mulligan's Hollow restrooms and skate park on weekdays and open and close these facilities on the weekends.
