Join Patty Christopher of Patricia's Chocolate to sample a rare chocolate new to the market - the Fortunato No. 4 Dark Milk Chocolate 47%. She will bring her complete Fortunato line from ganache to caramels to ingot-size bars and will present the history of this rare cacao. An excellent opportunity to pick up a box of chocolate for your favorite Valentine - she will have a wide selection of her products for sale.
Trained by world-class chocolatiers at the French Pastry School and Callebaut Institute in Chicago, Patty creates recipes that combine cocoa, fresh butter, and creams with exotic varieties of imported spices, fresh herbs, fruit purees, coffees, teas, and fine liqueurs, then handcrafts an artisan selection of premier ganache and caramel chocolates, as well as a collection of extraordinary specialty confections.

The New Music Ensemble at Grand Valley State University is an undergraduate ensemble that promotes the music of our time and features flute, clarinet, violin, cello, piano and percussion. “Music in Their Words” is music composed by eight well-known composers created for this ensemble. Each work is 5-7 minutes in duration with an electronic backing track that incorporates the 20th century composer’s speaking voice in some way.
