Notice of Abandoned Vehicle Bid

The Grand Haven Department of Public Safety is seeking sealed bids for the purchase of an unclaimed abandoned vehicle.� Sealed bids must be received at the City of Grand Haven Clerks Office, 519 Washington Avenue, Grand Haven, MI 49417 No later the 10:00 AM on January 14, 2011.� The envelope containing the sealed bid shall have printed on it the following: Abandoned vehicle bid-2001 Chevrolet Impala.� The minimum bid is $1,521.08 which includes towing & storage and advertising expenses ($1,475.00 for towing & storage and $46.08 for advertising). The winner of the bid shall pay the city of Grand Haven for advertising expenses and towing & storage fees will be turned to the towing agency.� The bid(s) will be publicly opened in the City Hall Council Chambers, 519 Washington Avenue on January 14 at 10:00 AM.�The vehicle can be viewed at Tri-City Towing, 12 N.
