- The City of Grand Haven Neighborhood Housing Services is a part of the City’s Building and Planning Department and is recognized as a certified housing counseling agency for Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA). The MSHDA counseling services are being provided to increase the success of homeownership, revitalize neighborhoods and strengthen families. A strong community of supporters both public and private provide socially receptive support of this mission. We seek to provide tailored counseling services to meet the most urgent of homeowner needs within our County.
Mission
Neighborhood Housing Services seeks to create successful homeownership opportunities through pre-purchase homebuyer education classes, home improvement grants for existing homeowners and downpayment assistance and rehab funds for new homebuyers.
