March Garden Day 2011
A Celebration of Gardening!
March Garden Day is sponsored by the West Michigan Nursery & Lanscape Association, a local non-profit organization of gardening and landscap professionals. Proceeds from this event will help fund the WMNLA Scholarship Program & Horticulture Education Grants.
Day-long seminar for gardeners featuring Mark Dwyer the Director of Horticulture at Rotary Botanical Gardens in Janeesville, WI since 1998. He oversees the maintenance and development of this 20 acre display garden and coordinates a small dedicated grounds staff and many wonderful volunteers.
Ronald Calhoun, Ph.D. is a native of Michigan and has worked in the green industry since the mid-80's with jobs in the athletic field, property maintenance, arboretum, greenhouse and golf course segments.He has an undergraduate degree in lanscape design and a master's degree in turfgrass management. His Ph.D. research focused on the biology and ecology of annual bluegrass.

Attendees earn 5 points toward Master Gardener re-certification. Registration, including lunch, is $45; $50 at the door. NEW LOCATION -- Grand Haven Community Center, 421 Columbus, Grand Haven.
