Lake Michigan Raw Water Pumping Station Improvements
Residents and neighbors are invited to celebrate our new Lake Michigan Raw Water Pumping System Improvements Construction Open House Thursday, March 24th, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Water Filtration Plant, 30 Sherman Ave., Grand Haven, MI
The Northwest Ottawa Water System, which includes the City of Grand Haven, Grand Haven Charter Township, Village of Spring Lake, Spring Lake Township, City of Ferrysburg and Crockery Township, is improving the existing raw water supply system, which will include construction of a new raw water transmission main on Harbor Ave., from the YMCA to Prospect Street and a backwash water storage tank on Mulligan’s Drive.
This 2011-2012 project will be supervised by the engineering firm of Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr and Huber, Ottawa County Road Commission and the City of Grand Haven.

Description of Event: Andy Wible, instructor of philosophy at Muskegon Community College, will be discussing his book "Golf and Philosophy: Lessons for the Links" and signing books after his talk. The talk will provide a look at why he developed the book, how golf lead us to be better thinks and persons' and what improvements can be made in the game.
