The Spring Lake Wooden Boat Show has been held annually since 2004. For 2015 the show will be held at Mill Point Park in Spring Lake. This year marks the 12th year of the show! The event is always free to the public!
This years show is Saturday, May 30
9:00am – 3:00pm
Awards Ceremony at 3:00pm
Registration for boaters begins at 7:00am

Head out to Grand Haven and tour Chocolates by Grimaldi (http://www.chocolatesbygrimaldi.com/)! During this fun, factory tour you will have the opportunity to learn about the chocolate making process from pod to bean to delicious chocolate! Visitors will also be able to taste fresh samples right off the line, visit our production area, and get a close-up view of our vintage 1950’s enrober that’s just like the one that was used on I Love Lucy! Tours cost $3.00 per person and can be scheduled on Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Special times and large groups of 10 or more may also be accommodated. Air Quality in West Michigan: How Does It Affect You?

Join us for a forum composed of local and statewide activists and experts, including the Michigan Department of Community Health Asthma Network and Michigan Air/Michigan Health, local students who conducted air quality testing led by Holland League of Women Voters Representative Don Triezenberg, and GVSU Professor of Sustainability Eric Nordman, and Chuck Tawney from the West Michigan Jobs Group. The program begins at 7:00 pm, but come early for the booths, demonstrations, and exhibitions beginning at 6:30 pm. With summer bringing ozone action days, learn what solutions are out there.
