The City of Grand Haven Zoning Board of Appeals has scheduled a public hearing to gather citizen input on the following request:
Case 18-03: A request by Howard Glass, 100 Clinton Avenue, Grand Haven, MI, 49417, for the property at 100 Clinton Avenue, Grand Haven, MI 49417 (parcel #70-03-20-452-001) for two (2) variances to the Grand Haven Zoning Ordinance, related to an existing building addition. No changes are proposed; these variances are retroactively requested following a building addition where the building code required modifications after a fire that were in conflict with the Zoning Ordinance.

1. A variance from Section 40-119.05.A, Nonconforming uses of structures and land. The requested variance is to allow an enlargement of and structure alterations to a nonconforming use (two-family dwelling). Specifically, the roof of the southern portion of the building was raised to provide minimum required headroom in the second floor.
